Were I making my piece available for sale, thus profiting from it, I would indeed be subject to any and all applicable copyright laws. In this instance, however, I am free to make my art exactly as I did, and I will resubmit it as soon as I send this note in protest of your erroneous decision.

Take that back. AWESOME work. I feel like this is only the tip of the iceberg. There's something honest about your artwork, specifically your drawings. The design/composition whatever-you-call-it rocks and there's this badass energy in your lines and forms that lots of people end up ignoring in exchange for that cloying "eye candy" look...
